Capoeira is a Brazilian cultural expression fusing martial art, dance, live music and acrobatics. The Batuque Capoeira Group has been active in the Netherlands since 1995. In this period the goup developed a lot of knowhow and experience working with trainings and workshops for companies, schools, festivals, CKV projects, parties and much more. Batuque Capoeira works with various groups like adults, children, seniors, including social projects, youth detention, AZC's (asylum seekers), etc. The teaching method of Batuque Capoeira results in energy, motivation and integration of the participants. In the same way our Capoeira shows are spectacular and energetic events, on live music and with audience participation. In addition, live Samba, Batucada and Maculele shows are also available.
